My husband and I spent the entire weekend here. Upon arrival, They had put a bottle of wine and a special card in our room to welcome us! The paranormal investigation that took place that Saturday was a bit much, considering we didn't hear any noises, tapping things like that, until Saturday night when this "show" came about. It was very quiet on our floor but it came from the 2nd floor where everyone else was staying and playing.

Dan was wonderful to work with, and the place was exactly what we needed after a long journey. There was some incredible bird watching + beautiful river views right out the window. Highly recommend checking out this spot!

what a perfect place, location and size. we stayed here for our 1 year wedding anniversary and even wore our wedding outfits as we added to our vows in front of the sun rising along the River. dream come true

I hate to say that for me this is the best place to stay because I would like this to always be available. This is very spacious. The entry is 5 feet from your private parking space. It’s the lowest level with a pool table, furniture, TV, full bath and 2 bed bedroom. A separate laundry room with shuffleboard table. Next floor up is a bright, very high ceiling kitchen and dining area. Very spacious. Then a spiral staircase to the 3rd level with king bed, large hot tub, couch, TV, fireplace, full bath and door to your private deck with furniture and gas fire pit. There is an inflatable mattress with plenty of room to use it on the 3rd floor. This is a great place.

We went to the Maquoketa Caves State Park and the town of Maquoketa. It was a beautiful 30 minute drive from Bellevue. This place is on the river, a short walk to the downtown area, with plenty of shopping and restaurants. They even had a murder mystery setup which we enjoyed.

It was a pleasure to stay with Dan, he responded quickly when we needed him. Everything we needed was provided from beach towels to coolers. Something to keep in mind is the AC can't go below 72°, but with the dehumidifier on and the extra fan that was provided we were comfortable. I would definitely book with Dan again if given the opportunity.

I really liked the structure of the apartment, the decorations, and the minimalist design. Even though it was compact, it had everything needed and felt very comfortable and well organized. The only things I didn’t really like were the narrow stairs and the TV size, which felt a bit too small considering the distance from the bed.

Had a really good stay here. The place was clean, comfortable, and matched the listing. Everything was smooth from check-in to check-out, and the host was responsive and helpful when needed. Overall, a great stay and I’d definitely recommend it to others.

The stay was wonderful and relaxing! We thoroughly enjoy our stays! There is everything you need already in the cabin. Regular coffee pot. It was great for our little getaway. The trout fishing in the nearby creek was spectacular!

Dan's cabin provided exactly what we needed! A weekend getaway from the busy city! Dan had everything we needed and the cabin was spacious. We enjoyed going around the small town and surrounding areas. We would recommend this to anyone needing to escape and relax! Thanks for hosting our family!
